Introduction
The Skaian Wars is a Homestuck roleplay forum based on an alternate universe in which there is no SBURB or SGRUB, and no notion of game. All the characters were born in this universe named Skaia. Upon joining this roleplay platform, you'll be allowed to either play a canon character, or an original character of your own. [read more about the AU]
Current storyline
While everyone believed the war was well and over, there was one seadweller who was far from serene with the outcome of the war. The Condesce, who, back on Alternia, used to be at the top of the hierarchy, being from the highest bloodcast and also leader of her tribe, was enraged with the monarchy of Derse. She thus formed an alliance with the archagent Jack Noir who was not a bit less infuriated with the Black Queen and her beloved Prince, whose influence over her was growing everyday. With the help of other agents and highbloods, they overthrew Derse's government, and declared war on Prospit, the Condesce taking the Black Queen's place as the new Empress. But not before the Prince was able to get away, having been warned by the seer beforehand. Right now, the Empress's influence on Skaia is dreadful. This is why, along with other trolls, carapaces, and humans, the Prince has started a rebellion against the self-proclaimed Empress. A similar movement is now growing on Prospit, and it is only a matter of time before things start to change again... [read more about the current storyline]

| The purple roads of Derse used to be as busy as Prospit's streets, but ever since the Empress took control, they have become more and more dangerous and are swarming with agents and highbloods. Dirk Strider | | The Low district is where the shops and market are located. It is also where most of the population lives. It is actually a bit safer than the High district, since that's where the agents tend to hang out. However, a lot of highbloods to roam the streets in this district, so it's still risky to go out.

Dirk Strider | | The poorest district of Derse. Is is mostly made up of ruined buildings and insalubrious housing. Dersite trolls like to hang out around the slums, even if, for the most part, they live in the Low district.
Junkyard, Apartments, Cemetery | | | Much like Prospit'moon, the moon is the wealthiest part of Derse. It used to be the home of the monarchy, but it is now occupied by the Empress. The aristocracy, or at least, the nobles who swore allegiance to the Empress, live here too. They can mostly go about freely, but they are constantly watched over. The moon is linked to Derse by a huge, purple chain. Just like on Prospit, space shuttles go up and down the chain to enable people to travel between Derse and its moon.
