Merkes was making a nasty habit out of biting the inside of his cheek, especially when annoyed, but the crowd of filthy lowbloods below his spot on the roof edge where he sat made him sick to his core. They were with the carapaces, cheering on a local celebrity as he waved from his carriage. He wasn't even sure they knew who they were cheering. This was one of the pilots who ravaged their homeworld.

He snarled to himself, shaking the bottle gently in his hand, letting the liquid swish about. There was no way he was going to let that go unpunished. He pulled the cork out of the bottle with his teeth and brought the bottle to his nose, taking a long sniff before smiling.

Fuel had always smelt delicious.

He quickly pulled a handkerchief off out of his pocket and stuffed it part way down the neck of the bottle with a few pokes from his finger. Then he plucked the match he had tucked behind his right ear and struck it alight on one of his horns, a trick that used to draw hysterics from the old Terror Troupe, and held the small fiery tip by the cloth.

Come on.

Come ooon.

It lit. He grabbed his mace with his right hand and stood up with a cackle. The building he was on was only a story high, but people rarely had the sense to look up, especially when there was such a famous celebrity on the streets. One that was getting closer and closer.

"Tick tock 'Mr Hero'" The Subjugglator whispered too himself. "I can see your time is aaaaalmost up."

The carriage rolled in front of Merkes. He pulled back his left arm and threw the bottle forward, watching it soar majestically through the air and to the carriage. Then he watched the carriage explode into fire. The pilot began screaming. The carriage driver began screaming. Even the horses where crying out in dismay. Oh it was beautiful.

Merkes leapt from his spot plunged into one of the screaming crowds below. A lowblood was crushed under his boots as gravity helped him smash the traitorous little bastard into the pavement.

Anyone who hadn't began to flee now decided to do so. Merkes began to roar and howl at them. He reached out and grabbed one of the rather pathetic carapaces who appeared to be 'too shocked to move', which registered to the Subjugglator as 'too stupid to live'. He threw the body to the ground and drove the tip of his mace into the man's hideous face, causing blood and brain to burst out of the side like some sort of gooey fruit.

He took a moment to pant, before slowly looking up at the fire. The pilot was dead, and draped over the side of the carriage.
'It's not enough' A voice whispered. Merkes frowned. Was that from Lurgah or Nirrug?

"IT'S NOT ENOUGH." The voice repeated, roaring. Merkes brought a hand to his hand.

"It's not enough...." The troll muttered before staggering forward. He stretched his arm out quickly into the fire, closing his hand around the pilot's quickly disintergrating clothes, and flinging the body out.

"Stupid-fuck-burn-ow-fuck-burning-fuck-FUCK." He hissed, shaking his hand. He brought it to his hand and sucked on it as he gazed upon the corpse. He spat on it. That made it personal.

He turned to the empty streets and began to snarl. They fled? ALL of them fled?

"COME ON." He screeched, as loud as his voice would let him. "FIGHT ME."

No response. Merkes began to pace angrily.

"YEAH. RUN. FLEE ALL YOU WANT. IT'S QUITE NICE WHEN THAT'S AN OPTION ISN'T IT? WELL IT WONT. BE. FOR LONG." He started, apparently preaching to the walls. "LET'S SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT WHEN WE KILL YOUR PLANET. BURN DOWN YOUR HEROES."

He stopped shouting, as he checked every window, every alley, for a sign of any opponent.

"COME AND HAVE A GO IF YOU THINK YOU'RE 'ARD ENOUGH!" He tried again, in what may have passed for some sort of singing.

Still nothing.

"YOU'RE HYPOCRITS. THE FUCKING LOT OF YOU. YOU THINK YOU'RE 'CIVILISED' AND 'OH SO VERY FUCKING CLEVER'. WELL THIS IS WHAT YOU DID TO US, SO LETS SEE HOW WELL YOUR PLANET FUCKING STANDS AFTER I HAVE A GO AT IT. YOU SELF. RIGHTOUS. ARSEHOLES."

He stood there panting. His point was made. He turned to walk away, his mace resting on his shoulder.

- Not so fast!!

A mysterious woman was standing on the neighbouring the one Nagesh had been on earlier. A gust of wind made the long ends of her yellow two piece tunic fly over her knees. Like her arms, her long, firm legs were tightly wrapped in burnt orange thighs with golden boots and gloves. The high collar and black hair were hiding her face. The woman jumped with agility and landed not too far from the highblood where he could take a better look at his new opponent.

- You are guilty of troubling the Peace by committing terrorist acts causing the deaths of civilians!

The woman stated the Highblood's crimes as she pushed on her red glasses, her dragon-shaped cane pointing at him. There was no doubt as who she was dressed as: Neophyte Redglare. She glanced over her pointy glasses, allowing Nagesh to glimpse over her eyes as red as the glasses themselves. The girl was completely blind, maybe that was why she didn't seem to fear the man before her.

- I know why you are doing this... You are angry because of what the people here did to ours but you're not doing better they did!

The fire ran between them probably having caught a sparse line of fuel. Redglare didn't even flinch as the hot heat touched her face. Now that wind had fallen and light had shone upon her so close to him, Nagesh could finally see the woman's face. Of course she couldn't possibly be the real Neophyte, her face was much too immature and her horns were too short but she still bore a striking resemblance to her.

- Carapaces will kill more of us and force the Queen outcast each and every last one of us if you don't stop your actions! ... Or make you stop!

"..."

There was a crazy blind girl in front of him.

He wasn't entirely sure if this was a joke or not.

He let his eyes check her over. Small, yes, definitely small, also dressed up rather silly, and wielding a large stick as a weapon.

She was also young, which meant she was one of the carapace-raised. He pitied her he truly did. He relaxed his posture, as if forgetting a blind troll wouldn't see that.

"Go home wriggler." He ordered, sounding more fed up than annoyed. "Go home and play with your other little friends."

He paused for a moment.

"And you don't understand why I'm doing this, and I don't expect you too." He straightened up and frowned. "We are a dead race, when we die, the trolls end with us. I plan to go down fighting."

And with that he turned to walk away, his footsteps echoing around the otherwise silent street, save for the crackling of the burning carriage.

Terezi grunted and ran after the tall subjugulator. She made a swift turn to face him once she had passed him and pointed a threatening finger.

- I'm not a wriggler!!! I know my generation is the last of the trolls but you will only extinct us faster!!

The Scale grounded her cane in the ground and folded her hands over it. She could care less about the fire, there was no wind on this planet so the risk of the fire spreading and growing bigger was minimal.

- What will you do once you are done eliminating the carapaces? Kill all ''youngsters'' who will hold a grudge against you for killing their lusii?

- There they are!! It's them!!

Terezi titled her weight to the side so she could see behind Merkes gigantic frame. A middle aged carapace was pointing them as he yelled he found the culprits to his teammates. Terezi hadn't noticed them, the fire nearly covering their silhouettes. It seemed as tough they were there to extinguish the fire since they were carrying buckets with them. Now that they were gathering, terezi could see a small white mass of a dozen carapaces; none too happy to see the trolls... both of them.

The large troll turned towards them, disgust displayed across his face. He reached down and grabbed the charred head of the Carapace pilot and held it aloft for the newcomers to see.

"This is the fate of those who brought genocide to my people. I will turn your corrupt filth of a planet to ash." He paused, though it was unclear whether it was for dramatic effect or just to try and gauge the reaction of mob. Either way his forehead crinkled as he frowned.

"Your people are parasites that feasted off of our people." He dropped the corpse and pointed his mace at them. Though his hateful gaze never shifted, he spoke this time to bizarrely dressed girl next to him.

"Watch and learn Wriggler, this is the justice of those who denied you your future.".

The Subjugglator charged, screaming loudly, mace at the ready, with the fully intention of spilling more blood.

Terezi's delayed reaction didn't give her any time to think. The girl practically threw herself infront of Merkes to wrap her arms around a carapace and save it from a deadly mace swing. The cosplayer got out as quickly as she could even though she was out of the breath because of the adrenaline rush.

- Stop it!! You're hurting innocent people!!

Terezi stabbed Merkes in the back of the leg with her cane. As she held on to her weapon, she glanced at the carapaces.

- Run!! I'll stop him! Save yourselves!!

The fire could burn, it would do less victims then this madtroll on a rampage. Terezi stubbornly held on to her cane as long as possible because she knew the moment where merkes would succeed in turning around, the real fight would start.

She innocently thought all the carapaces leaving were fleeing from the scene and were grateful for her heroic acts. Never once it crossed her mind some of them might just be leaving them to finish their ''troll fight'' before coming back to deuce the fire or getting reinforcement in a non-friendly way for both of them.

Merkes threw his head back and screeched, as the cane pierced through his flesh and thick purple blood began to gush out of it.

"YOU INSOLENT BITCH!" He screamed, before turning and grabbing Terezi by the neck.

"I FIGHT AND BLEED FOR US, AND YOU TRY TO AID THEM!?" He continued, as the highblood fury began to build up inside of him. He winced as he shuffled his leg, but when he opened his eyes he began to look distant. It took a moment for him to snap out of his daze.

"You're with them, you wanted our planet to fucking burn. Well guess what you little blind bitch" He began to tighten his grip around her neck. "I'm a fucking subjugglator, herald of the mirthful messiahs and in their name I will avenge our people, I will avenge our Mother Grub, and I will avenge our planet."

He threw her to the ground.

"You will live to spread my message. The Subjugglators are returning, and we WILL cleanse this planet." He turned and began to leave again, now limping. He clearly needed to go and rest, so Terezi had at least disabled him for the time being, but it was also apparent this would be the first of many incidents. He began to walk into the smoke, close to escaping.

"I know what I'm fucking doing! Shut UP!" He began to roar, waving his arms about as he walked along, as if trying to hit someone who wasn't there. "I'll kill all of them! Then I'll kill the fucking black demon!"

Terezi held off the beast too long for her own security. She let out a bloody cry when Nagesh grabbed her neck. Both her hands clasped around his enormous wrist.

- NO ONE EVER ASKED TO BL---

She whined and gasped for air when the mighty giant put pressure on her throat. He could snap her neck like a toothpick. The vertebra of her nape crushed painfully against the soft bowel of her windhole. Terezi thought she had fought her last battle when suddenly, the heavy pressure stabilized. Forcing to focus, Terezi noticed Nagesh suddenly seemed distant or looked like as if he had seen a ghost. He speeched her about how he would avenge their race before throwing her onto the ground. She rolled on herself a few times before laying on the dirt fully. Her breathing was loud and erratic but not enough to cover what the Subjuggulator said next.

He then left roaring and flailing like a madman. Terezi revised herself not to pursue him or she would die and accomplish nothing. Still running after her breath, the Scale propped herself to her feet and ran away before any crowd could ambush her and finish her off.
