| While I'm aware that it's been a while since the two new albums have been released, I still listen to them near constantly! I really enjoy them and was wondering if anyone was interesting in discussing them as well.
Quick few questions for you guys:
-Universe A or Universe B? -Favorite Songs? -Anything you were disappointed by?
Feel free to add anything else that comes to mind!

| I personally prefer Universe B! Although I do enjoy some songs on Universe A, there are some I'm not that fond of... but I like all of Universe B. Here are some of my overall favourites:
Universe A: Rust Servant, Fuchsia Ruler, Olive Rogue, Cobalt Thief (THIS OMG), Temporal Shenannies kind of...
And as for Universe B, Do the Windy Thing, Pilot Light, Checkmate, Vodka Mutiny, Dord Waltz, Green Ghost... but Emerald Terror is my absolute favourite
I listen to them all the time! Again, I'm amazed by the amount of talent in this fandom. If you don't agree, check out the cover image for Olive Rogue.... I died laughing
EDIT: Oh my god I almost forgot the Squiddle Song. Whenever I accidentally sing it in public people look at me weird |

| Oh my both those albums were fascinating... it'd be hard to pick one but I think I enjoyed Universe A a little more, I couldn,t quite explain why...
As for my favorite songs, right now, my favorite of ALL would probably be Fuchsia Ruler because it's simply too perfect for Her Condescention, in my opinion. I also really, really enjoy Red Disc and Emeral Terror off Universe B.
I can't really say I dislike anything about neither album! Everything is so well executed on it....My only regret is to have only seen there was an album cover contest a few days before it was over : < I would have participated if I only I had known any earlier... |

| I'd say that my favorite album was Universe B. I like some songs in Universe A, but Universe B is the only album that I can play on my computer without skipping songs.
In Universe A: Gold Pilot, Teal Hunter, Fuchsia Ruler, Bronze Page, Gold Mage, Iron Knight, Olive Rogue, Jade Sylph... And yep, that's all.
For Universe B, I love all of them except one or two, so I won't list them all. |

| @Nirana: Oh my goodness, we enjoy, like, the exact same songs off of Universe A! XD Cobalt Thief is so pretty. It makes me picture a really, really sad Vriska ;A;
I totally agree with you--the amount of talent in this fandom is astounding! Maybe its because we're such a vast fandom? Or maybe Homestuck just attracts a certain type of people? I am so glad the cover for Olive Rogue won as it did. It is one of the most fantastic things just ever.
I should learn it so I can do that too! XD I bet you're having fun though! They don't appreciate the awesome >>
Have you seen the animated trailer for the Squiddles? It's hilarious~
@Sollux:
I agree with you completely! Fuchsia Ruler fits her to a T. It's gotta be the bubbly sort of sound at the beginning, and those funky sort of beats that carry on through the middle fit the way she saunters in all of the flashes she's featured in! XD I cannot wait until Hussie uses it in a flash. Actually, I'd probably just explode from excitement if he uses any of the coloUrs and mayhem songs.
That's the weird thing about this fandom. Either something totally explodes and EVERYONE knows about it, or it passes through really silently. It's so weird!

I myself am probably more fond of Universe A, though like Sollux, I can't really explain why. I definitely like Universe B quite a bit though. Especially so since it's so diverse!
Universe A: Olive Rogue, Cobalt Thief, Fuchsia Ruler, and Iron Knight. While I don't necessarily love it, I really like Cobalt Corsair in the way you can almost hear it telling Mindfang's story.
Universe B: Green Ghost, Blue Atom, Emerald Terror, and Pale Rapture.
I myself don't really dislike anything that they did. While I don't think I expected some of the songs to actually have voices in them, it was an interesting thing to listen to. I still prefer the ones that are just music though. |

| @Draconian Dignitary: Oh jeez, I just missed you while I was typing, DD! It's weird how Universe A has a tendency to skip sometimes. Especially towards the end of the album for me.
What a cool selection! So I'm gonna hazard a guess you like faster beats? |

| I loved both of the albums, but I think Universe B was my favorite. I was a little disappointed that Darkleer and the Grand Highblood didn't get their own songs in A, but that's about it.
Here are a few of my favorite songs:
Universe A--Rust Servant, Teal Hunter, Temporal Shenanigans Universe B--Green Ghost, Orchid Horror, Bec Noir, Pipeorgankind
The album artwork for each individual song was awesome. I think that was one of my favorite parts. |

They are out and free, now. Both songs. They weren't available at first because the original two tracks picked for the album were plagiarism and it took a little while to replace them. |

| @Jade: Yeah, I saw the trailer for Squiddles! At one point (I think you'd know which part I'm talking about) I did a perfect textbook jawdrop and just sat there trying to comprehend what I was seeing. Oh my god that. Yeah, I like that about Cobalt Thief! I also really really enjoyed the morse code. What an interesting touch. |

| @Nirana: The things Homestuck produces are just made to do these things to us. I could not quite believe what I was seeing either! XD It was such a lovely touch, dear goodness. Such feelings ;A; |
