Rose shook her head. Normally she'd have chuckled at the statement but now wasn't the time for it. She twisted her hand and felt the light pressure of the bottle being pressed between her sleeve and her elbow. Barely large enough for more than a few drops, she didn't bother reading the label on it; it had to be lethal to have so small an amount available.

"I'm quite aware of where I am standing." Rose reached forward again and took a medium sized bottle and examined it closer. "I could say the same to you." Nodding she took an empty smaller bottle and set the two down and uncorked the larger bottle, looking around for a funnel. She no longer trusted her hands not to shake and make a mess.

Tut tut, just because I don't see you having a use for poison doesn't mean I don't. Who knows, maybe I'll need it if I get cornered, haha." Dove said the last part in a joking manner but both girls knew it was anything but a joke. The Dersite girl watched as Rose pulled down two poisons and an empty bottle only to continue searching for another item. It seemed she planned to mix the two poisons, most likely to make a more lethal version. She honestly did not want to know what the Seer planned to do with the poison.

Checking the contents of her satchel Dove moved away from her fellow Dersite and gave a small stretch. No use in prolonging the inevitable. If she stayed here any longer she'd probably crack and join the Condesce, if only to be closer to her only friend. "It seems I've collected everything I need. I wish you luck." Summoning her own floating ball of light Dove began weaving throughout the rows of items until she reached the door. Taking a look back to see Rose intently focused on her work Dove gave a stretched smile and turned away. With a small wave Dove left the Circle, and the Seer inside.

Goodbye, Rose."

Rose pressed her lips together to keep from commenting on Dove's 'joke', sure that if she did she'd say the same of herself and the other girl wouldn't let her take any of the poisons at all. She focused on what her hands were doing, finding a funnel and a bottle to pour the two liquids into. Her hands didn't shake despite what she was doing, letting the liquid pour out in controlled amounts into the dark glass. She poured in the right amount of the first one when Dove spoke up.

She set the bottle down and corked it again. "It was good to have your company again, if only for a short while. Skaia protect you." Rose replied, smiling at the other girl's back for a moment before turning back to her work so the other girl wouldn't notice just how fake it was. She kept her eyes on the bottles in her hand and grit her teeth shut so she wouldn't call out and beg Dove to stay with her, not say that she didn't want to tolerate it alone anymore.

When she was certain the other girl was gone, Rose set down the second poison bottle and put it away with the other, going back to the table and cleaning her instruments and putting the second bottle of poison into the pocket of her dress. She grabbed a random, common, useless herb from the shelf and left the room, pausing at the door to look back into it as if her friend was still in there, saying something before leaving the room and hurrying back to the palace, making it back in time to hear that the Condesce had summoned her again. As she followed the seadweller that found her heading back to her room she mumbled the same words she'd said before leaving the room.
